F.R.E.I.M.A. LAUNCH! :: FRIDAY 1 JUNHO The awaited launch of the F.R.E.I.M.A. colective [Future Rebels Engaged in Multiple Action] and respective website will be celebrated on Friday 1st July at PlanoB [Oporto] with a showcase that will include the performance of FREIMA'S djs: Fulano47, Lukkas, Cláudio, Buna St Bubbles and vj AC 3MONITOR. Entry is free and hard dancing deeply encourage.
BIO Fulano47 is but one of the faces of a fragmented personality: raised by a family of after-hours addicted lemurs in the desert of Almeria, this infamous dj shared his existence and a living-room/kitchenette with William No [an eccentric novel writer with a degree in philosophy] and Hugo Branco [a respectable citizen who co-founded the 555 arts centre in Oporto]. In September 2006 they moved in to a house with a view in Barcelon , where they attend a master in digital arts, taking shifts. William No himself describes Fulano47's sessions as "stripped of any kind of decency, whilst revealing an exciting sense of opportunity, bringing maximal to new illuminating heights: a devout techno fan, he revels in good electro, is deeply moved by minimal and keeps a special place in his otherwise stone-cold heart for house and breaks, while allowing himself to breathe new life into classic anthems such as Voyage Voyage, The Rythm of The Night and Mary Had a Little Boy." Though against his will Fulano47 did have residences in some of Oporto's clubs like Swing Club, Porto Rio and Maré Alta, with regular renegade performances in venues further South such as Alcântara, Op Art e Mexe Café. An acoustic outlaw in his very own country, he frequently fled to Spain, where he was sheltered by clubs like Nature [Madrid], THClub [Murcia], Kehouse [Valencia], Kube [Ibiza] and more recently La Isla Dencanta [Barcelona]: his participation in the Mira Una Moderna '05 festival was never proved. Later on, while on parole for good behaviour, he was curiously invited to share decks with djs such as Cristian Varela, Marko Nastic and Jesús Del Campo, but was taken back in shortly after. From uncountable megalomaniac projects one can highlight [for their materialization] the controversial dj team called Jedi Nights and his recent incursion into the overpopulated universe of sound production – solo or as a member of the Freimatic Twins project. Fulano47 is a devout member of Freima – an obscure international collective of rebel artists engaged in multiple action.
